Lionel Messi’s GOAT Status Expands to Hollywood with 525 Rosario

Lionel Messi, the undisputed G.O.A.T. of football, isn’t just content with dominating the pitch—now he’s ready to take on Hollywood. In a move that seems almost inevitable for a megastar of his stature, Messi has officially launched his own production company, 525 Rosario, named after his hometown in Argentina.

And before you ask, yes, this is another day in the life of the greatest of all time. The soccer legend, who pulled a Beckham-esque move by joining Inter Miami, is also making strides off the field, partnering with Smuggler Entertainment, the minds behind Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend and Messi Meets America. Based out of Miami and LA, 525 Rosario promises to deliver premium content, family-friendly shows, and even branded storytelling in collaboration with major advertisers. It’s a joint venture, but make no mistake, Messi’s magic is at the core of this operation.

As if 8 Ballon d’Ors and a record-breaking career weren’t enough, Messi is now following in the footsteps of other sports titans like LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Tom Brady, all of whom have transformed their athletic superstardom into media powerhouses. But let’s be clear: Messi’s production company isn’t just another side hustle. The GOAT, ever so humble in his ambition, stated, “Entertainment has always been a passion for me, whether on the pitch or in other areas.” Of course, because if you’re Lionel Messi, conquering just one global industry would be selling yourself short.

At the helm of 525 Rosario will be Smuggler’s Tim Pastore, who’ll juggle duties as CEO while overseeing projects that are sure to expand the Messi brand into every household. Whether it’s producing more documentaries, family-friendly content, or even commercials that scream “Messi-approved,” the plan is as ambitious as the star himself. As Pastore puts it, the venture will push “the boundaries of traditional genres” and “build upon everything Leo Messi stands for.”

And this isn’t just a cash grab or a vanity project. Messi’s production company is aiming to blend entertainment with community outreach. In the same way that he’s been an inspiration on the field, 525 Rosario will strive to inspire global audiences through storytelling, programming, and good ol’ fashioned GOAT-level charm.

So, while you’re rewatching Inter Miami’s latest match (like I am, despite that draw against Atlanta United), remember this: Messi’s impact on the world isn’t confined to 90 minutes. He’s coming for the entertainment world too, and knowing him, he’ll probably bag an Oscar before we even see it coming.
