Tastemade is making bold strides to captivate a new generation of home cooks with the launch of its Tastemade Cooking app. This innovative platform delivers over 12,000 original, globally-inspired recipes, each with premium how-to videos, to create a comprehensive and engaging cooking experience. The app also offers exclusive content from culinary legends like Andrew Zimmern and Kristen Kish, which are featured in Tastemade’s award-winning streaming shows.

The launch reflects Tastemade’s ambition to deepen its engagement with audiences across both traditional and emerging platforms. The app caters to modern cooking needs with features like a Virtual Recipe Box, grocery list creation, nutritional insights, and unit conversion. Tastemade Cooking also aligns strategically with the company’s successful Tastemade+ membership, which has surpassed 100,000 subscribers since its 2023 relaunch. Tastemade+ subscribers gain unlimited app access, benefiting from the seamless integration of recipes, exclusive meal plans, and more.

“Tastemade boasts a rich and expansive library of incredible recipes and cooking videos that are not only expert-tested but also uniquely geared toward a new generation of home cooks,” said Tom Bash, Head of Product at Tastemade. “This app delivers on our members’ top requests and adds significant value to our membership plan.”

Expanding in the FAST Space

The app launch also signals Tastemade’s broader aspirations in the media landscape. As the company strengthens its footprint in the FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) space, Tastemade Cooking complements its growing presence in streaming. The app’s integration with Tastemade+ reflects the company’s strategy to fuse its linear FAST channels and digital platforms, creating a unified ecosystem for culinary entertainment.

This approach aligns with Tastemade’s partnerships with brands like Verizon, Walmart, and Best Buy, which have helped drive Tastemade+ membership growth. By bridging FAST programming with app-based engagement, Tastemade positions itself as a leader in culinary content for a tech-savvy generation of food enthusiasts.

The app is now available for iOS users, with an Android version planned soon, reinforcing Tastemade’s commitment to accessibility across platforms.

The Tastemade Cooking app can be downloaded in the App Store here.
